Happy Plant in Flower

The Dracaena Fragrans Massangeana ready to flower

If treaded well the plant will produce fragrant white-yellow flowers, followed by orange-red fruits. This is considered to be good luck!

Dracaenas are susceptible to fluorine in tap water so either use lukewarm rain water or allow tap water to stand overnight before using. Fluorine is less of a problem if the soil is slightly limey.

Well, This plant pictured on the right, lives on my desk at work. This photo was taken one week before I took a weeks holidays and after I came back if was just finishing flowering. I thought the plant was supposed to give good luck! Hope to get another one to flower next year. I can always try!
