About Wayne Peacock
| My Life |
I am living in the great suburb of Happy Valley, South Australia, Australia. I have spent all of my life in the southern suburbs of Happy Valley, Aberfoyle Park and Flagstaff Hill and love it here. Lot's of bush and wildlife just around the corner while being close to work and shops.
| My Career |
After finishing Year 12 at Reynella East High School, I started studying the 'Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering' at Regency Institute of TAFE here in SA. Towards the end of the course I hoped to start the Diploma in Engineering (IT Systems). After two modules the course was cancelled and I then went on to start a Job at Flinders University where I am still today after 9 years.
I worked in the School of Earth Sciences electronics workshop for a year before a merger of Earth Sciences with Chemistry and Physics. Now I work for the School of Chemistry, Physics and Earth Sciences (SoCPES for short) http://www.socpes.flinders.edu.au Flinders University is a great place to work, friendly staff and students and lots of interesting experiments to play with. The University grounds are excellent, the buildings surround a large grass area with a large pond and ducks. You will find me every lunch overlooking the pond and grounds.
